Summary of the 2019 Ferrol Rally
Held in Galicia north of A Coruña, the Ferrol Rally started with 10 R5s, including 2 Citroën C3 R5s, Pepe Lopez (Citroën Rally Team, Sport's & You) and Victor Senra (Yacar Racing).
At the end of the first day of 4 special events (ES), the two C3 R5 drivers set the fastest times. Pepe Lopez (Citroën C3 R5), very efficient on the long 20 km special stage (ES1-ES3), leads Ivan Ares (Hyundai R5) by 6.7s and Victor Senra (Citroën C3 R5) by 36.9s. In the second stage, the two C3 R5s continue to run a series of scratch times. Pepe Lopez consolidated his first place and won the Ferrol rally with a 9.3s lead over Ivan Ares. Victor Senra, with two fastest times on his clock, completed the podium on his C3 R5.
